CROESO I / WELCOME TO

HAFOD DYWYLL FARM CAMPSITE

Pre booking is recommended. Please email suehafod@hotmail.com with any booking enquiries.

The campsite at Hafod Dywyll farm has welcomed generations of campers who enjoy its informal atmosphere. The campsite is ideal for relaxed family holidays, get togethers with friends or for individual explorers.

With its river side location and fantastic views all around this is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Welsh Countryside of Meirionnydd. The farm has a plethora of footpaths to be explored, or you can enjoy the activities of a typical family run hill farm. The site is close to (but not to be confused with) the Kings Youth Hostel and under 5 miles from Dolgellau.  A ten minute drive will take you to the glorious sandy beach at Fairbourne and the miniature steam railway. The seaside town of Barmouth is a 20 minute drive north.

Suitable for tents, small caravans and camper vans. If you want to make a group booking, arrangements can be made to use a different field.

The site has 4 toilets and 2 showers. The farm and campsite drinking water comes from a private water supply that is uv filtered and tested by the local Council. Please be aware that if there is a power failure the water should be boiled before drinking.

Small campfires are allowed. The site is in a valley which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its Oak woodlands. Any cutting of wood is not allowed, however bags of logs are available at a very competitive price at the farm, we do ask campers to buy logs from us rather than bringing their own.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead 100% of the time.
